U16’s wargames club starting on Monday 18th of April
We are starting a wargames club for our younger shop attendees and also for those with less experience in the area. We will be primarily focusing on Games Workshop but will from time to time introduce other wargames.
The schedule will be :-
1st Monday of Month 40k
2nd Monday of Month Warhammer Fantasy
3rd Monday of Month 40k
4th Monday of Month Painting/scenery building
Sessions will be £1.50 or £5 for the painting and scenery building starting at 5.30pm and finishing at 7.30pm.
40k Nights
We are going to be using the Combat Patrol rules and 400 point armies on these evenings, this will allow games to be completed within the time period allocated. We will extend this to a campaign once we have a few weeks under our belt.
There will be 3 4ft by 4ft tables set up for those who know the rules or are confident enough to play and there will be help available for any rules queries. In addition to this there will be a teaching table for those wanting to learn the rules.
We will have the following armies available for use:-
Ultra Marines
Black Templars
Eldar
Orks
Chaos Marines
Tyranids
We will be more than happy to help you write 400 point lists from your own collections so that you can play with your own armies. Once players are more experienced they can use their own armies for much larger games.
Rules can be found on the 40k page of the website
